However, the Machine only cares for violent crimes - basically, anything resulting in death. Framing alone doesn't quite cut it. So, either the karma-helping guy is going to kill someone, or, more likely, someone's going to try and kill him, for all the "good" he's done.
And that Morris with circumstantial evidence... what if he didn't kill the shrink's wife?
Aaaand here comes Freckles, heavily tipping the balance of "bad guys side vs. being killed" towards being killed. Just John's luck.
Would be very interesting if nothing of the sort eventuates, though.
Averting eyes when complimenting her, John? Either that's part of his cover - entirely unnecessary - or he just doesn't feel like flirting with her, which totally gets my approval (but then, I'd be fishing for any sign).

Well, one thing should be clear, the guy didn't kill his wife. He's white in the Machine's eyes. Although... is there a statute of limitations on her marking someone as violent?

Huh! John has a point. Maybe the car blast is an act of framing? But it had to be prepared, and how would the shrink know Morris got paroled, if Harold didn't know due to that lateness thing?
Strangely, I believe the quoting verbatim thing. It's just... you come up with something that sounds good, and then forget you already used it, and then happen to use the exactly same expression when you feel it's appropriate. I did a few in writing, only to later notice there's that repetition, after checking and seeing both cases. The shrink guy certainly had enough time to forget. Then he came into the same situation... and used the same words.
Whoops. So the shrink guy has Morris' old e-mail hacked, too? That doesn't sound good at all.
Although, how could he not notice our favourite man in the suit, who sticks out like a sore thumb with his height and flashy long-coat?

Giving his dog away for undefined time? Perhaps the shrink isn't going to kill anyone. Perhaps he's going to kill himself with that gun, and frame Morris for good. Funny way to do business, but whaddya know.

Hey, shrink guy, don't you forget something? There's a witness now, who can tell Morris hadn't touch a hair on your head. Which means, to perform your big plan you must get rid of that witness. Which makes it murder anyway.
Hopefully John gets there before Harold is hurt.

And Freckles didn't get killed. Meaning the balance is back to even.
I genuinely don't believe it's going to end well. I just don't.
Why do they insist on talking. Putting stuff into words helps, yes it does. Formulating it, finding a way to describe it in a way that's both acceptable and truthful. Coming to terms with it. (Terms, see?) But why does that have to be aloud? And why does that have to be to a shrink?
And John's mode of grieving is "go after those who is at fault and keep killing them".
Hey, a lamp glowing in warm hues in the corner is a bit over the top. I appreciate symbols, but it's not theater, it's TV.
